## Perfect Grilled Pancakes Preparation

For a fresh take on pancakes, set the pan on the grill and the grill temperature at 400°.

Add a dollop of vegetable oil and a half tablespoon of butter (the combination gives the pancakes a beautiful golden crust).

Using your favorite pancake recipe (we like buttermilk pancakes) carefully ladle ½ cup of batter for each pancake onto the hot surface.

Turn when the bubbles burst and holes appear.

Baste top with a little melted butter as second side cooks. Remove from heat and serve with maple or blueberry syrup.
